Our Promise to You

VDCI is committed to excellence in vector control and related contract services. We strive to improve the quality of human life through education, surveillance and the control of mosquitoes and other disease vectors.

The cornerstone of any successful mosquito control operation is its surveillance program. Inspection of potential treatment areas coupled with collections from mechanical traps enable us to determine the mosquito distribution, density, and species composition throughout the control area. This information is critical for determining when, where, and how often larvicides and adulticides need to be applied.

Mosquito Control

Well-designed mosquito control programs should be based on surveillance and habitat identification with all efforts made to target larvicide and adulticide applications appropriately while minimizing impacts to non-target species. As with any mosquito control program, the success will be dependent upon the vigilance and commitment to the program.
